How does shipping work?

We’re all about simplicity here, which is why our delivery process is about as easy as 1, 2, 3!

First, you’ll put your address in while purchasing your product.

Second, we’ll send your order through to Sendle (Australia’s only carbon neutral delivery company).

Third, Sendle will deliver your package right to your door!

Do you deliver interstate or overseas?

We most certainly do! From Melbourne, to Sydney, onto New Zealand and the rest of the world – if you want our clothes, we can make it happen.

How much does delivery cost?

All Australian orders over $100 AUD come with FREE delivery.

Australian orders below $100 AUD are charged at a fixed rate of $9.95 AUD.

International orders are charged at a fixed rate of $19 AUD.

How long will it take to get my threads?

If you’re in Melbourne, you can expect your order to arrive within ONE business day.

If you’re in Australia (but unfortunately not in Melbourne), then delivery times will vary, with Sydney/Adelaide being 1-2 business days and Perth/Darwin being closer to 5 business days.

As we’re using an environmentally friendly service, we cannot guarantee delivery times, but if we don’t make it, it will always be close! And of course, if there’s an issue, please feel free to get in touch.


Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept payment via all major Credit Cards and Paypal. In person, we also accept cash as well.

Is buying online safe?

At baru, we’re taking zero risk when it comes to securing your privacy and your money. We’ve decided to partner with both Square payments as well as Paypal to ensure all of our transactions are locked away and guaranteed against fraud and harm. With end-to-end encryption on all card payments and all transactions being backed by both Paypal and Square, we’re confident your money (and credit card details) are in good hands.


What size am I?

Sizing is dependent on the product you’re considering. We encourage you to read our sizing guide which is available for each product, on their respective product pages.

As a note, all of our clothes are measured in cm and we’ve used standard sizing practices to come up with our fit. We suggest comparing the sizing on your existing clothes as an additional guide.

Will you guys be offering more sizes in the future?

Currently, we’re offering S, M, L & XL but we are considering adding an extra small to that list. If we don’t have the size you’re after, please let us know so we can see about getting your size for the future.

What is a preorder and when will my order be delivered?

Sometimes we get so excited about one of our upcoming products, that we start to sell them before they’ve actually arrived. When you preorder these items, you’ll be getting a preorder exclusive discount to say thank you. Once these items have arrived, we’ll ship them out as per our standard delivery times.

How can I cancel or change my order?

If you’d like to change your order in any way, please contact us immediately with the new information. We’ll do our best to adjust your order but no promises!

How do I return a product?

For FAULTY ITEMS, INCORRECT SIZE RECEIVED OR WRONG ITEM RECEIVED, please send us an email at and attach a few photos so we can understand the problem. We’ll arrange for a swap so please keep your received product in good condition.

FOR ANY OTHER ISSUE (i.e. you aren’t happy with the product, or you aren’t happy with the size), we’re happy to give you a full store credit once you’ve sent back the product. This of course assumes that the item is still in good condition.
